Research Specialization: Development of separation techniques for recovery, removal of microplatsics from various environments, including water sources and soils; Surface properties characterization; Physical and chemical characterization of microplastics; Fourier Transform Infra Red spectroscopic methods (micro-FTIR) for microplastic characterization and identification; Inverse Gas Chromatography (IGC) for surface properties characterization, such as hydrophobic/hydrophilic interactions with organic matter and biological organisms
